Let ’em Guess First!




If the listening text you are using is challenging for your students, try having them do the task before they listen (for the 2nd or 3rd time they listen). This helps them develop the skill of prediction and also allows them to simply focus on listening skills while the text is playing. This gives them more support for the listening and makes the task easier for them which can help build listening confidence.
