Here is an idea for a powerful memory association tool.The students draw a plan of a house or apartment that has a lot of memories for them. They then put words in a room in their house, based on associations/ memories they have with that part of the house. They can then explain to partners why they put them there (if they feel comfortable). They can add to the house over time. They could even put them on the wall of the classroom and create a ‘neighborhood’.
