Quick Teaching Tip

Use grammar ‘line-ups’ — give each student a word then they put themselves in the correct order to make a sentence. Change a word and see how the sentence changes. Interview words about what they are and why they’re in the order they are in. This is especially helpful for sentences with a list of adjectives in them like: My sister has long curly brown hair.
